KUALA LUMPUR: Up to 200,000 people are expected to attend the RUU355 Rally at Padang Merbok, here on Saturday.
PAS information chief, Nasrudin Hassan Tantawi, said the rally, from 2pm to 11pm will feature 21 speakers, including non-Muslim leaders.
Special prayers will be held later in the evening so that the RUU355 Bill is passed by parliament.
The RUU355 Rally theme is 'Syariah Diperkasa, Rakyat Sejahtera.'
Dataran Merdeka and part of Jalan Parlimen will be closed on Saturday, from 8am to midnight, said Dang Wangi police chief ACP Mohd Sukri Kama in a media statement yesterday. -- Bernama
